How do I add a child?
Open the Parent Zone (Me → Parent Zone, then your password or PIN) and choose Add creator. Each child gets a nickname, never a real name, and settings for their age.
Can my child use their own tablet?
Yes. In the Parent Zone, choose Link a child's device to get a short code, then type it on the child's device under "I have a code from my grown-up". You can unlink it at any time.
I forgot my parent PIN.
Open the parent gate with your account password instead, then set a new PIN in the Parent Zone.
Making episodes
An idea was stopped. Why?
Safety checks stop ideas that include personal information or aren't right for kids. The idea stays private, any credits are returned, and you can see it in your child's activity in the Parent Zone.
Voice ideas don't work.
Check that voice ideas are switched on in the child's settings in the Parent Zone, and that the device allows Mimbo to use the microphone and speech recognition. Speech turns into text on the device.

How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the store you paid through: on iPhone or iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. In Mimbo, Parent Zone → Plans & credits → Manage takes you there.
I bought something on another device.
In Plans & credits, choose Restore purchases while signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account.
What are credits?
Making an episode uses credits. Plans include credits every month. Credits aren't money and can't be transferred.
Privacy and your data
Export your family's data or delete a profile or the whole account in Parent Zone → Privacy & data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
